Returns and Refunds Policy Black Earth Blossoms - Lacombe, Alberta, Canada Effective Date: March 2026

All Sales Are Final – No Returns, No Refunds, No Exchanges

Because our products are fresh-cut flowers that are highly perishable, we maintain a strict no-returns, no-refunds, and no-exchanges policy. Once your order is prepared or leaves our farm, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for any reason, including:

  • Change of mind
  • Wrong colour or variety chosen
  • Vase life shorter than expected
  • Delivery delays caused by the carrier

Fresh flowers begin their natural decline the moment they are cut. We harvest and prepare them at peak freshness specifically for you, and returned or uncollected flowers cannot be resold.

Our Quality Guarantee We stand 100% behind the quality of our flowers when they leave our farm. If your bouquet arrives damaged, excessively wilted, or not as described due to our preparation or shipping, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery/pickup with:

  • Your order number
  • Clear photos of the issue (including packaging)
  • A short description of the problem

We will review each case individually and, at our sole discretion, may offer a replacement bouquet or store credit for a future order. Cash refunds are never issued.

This guarantee does not cover:

  • Normal vase life after proper care instructions are followed
  • Damage caused by extreme weather during transit (we pack for Canadian conditions)
  • Issues reported after 24 hours

Local Pickup Orders – Authorized Pickup and Unclaimed Orders For orders designated for local pickup at our farm:

  • Pickup must occur during the specified pickup window communicated in your order confirmation (typically within [e.g., 48 hours / the stated pickup day(s)] of notification that your order is ready).
  • If you are unable to pick up your order yourself, another person may collect it on your behalf provided we receive at least 24 hours' advance notice. Send the alternate picker's full name via email to info@blackearthblossoms.com along with your order number. We may request photo ID from the picker for verification.
  • Any unclaimed orders (not picked up and no alternate arranged within the stated pickup window) will be considered forfeited. We will donate the fresh flowers to a local non-profit organization of our choice (such as a seniors' centre, food bank partner program, or community group) to avoid waste. No refunds, credits, or replacements will be issued for unclaimed pickup orders.

By placing an order with Black Earth Blossoms, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.

This policy is subject to applicable laws under Alberta’s Consumer Protection Act and the Sale of Goods Act. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights regarding defective or misrepresented goods.

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. The version posted on our website at the time of purchase applies.
