Peonies are the most requested flower we grow and the shortest-lived crop on our farm. Our Central Alberta season runs from late June through mid-July — and when they're gone, they're gone until next year. No restocking, no substitutions, no rain checks.

During that window we cut our best stems for these buckets: fat, fragrant blooms harvested at the marshmallow stage, when the bud is just soft enough to press with your thumb. That's the sweet spot — tight enough to survive transport, ready to open slowly over 5–7 days in your vase. Cut any earlier and they won't open. Cut any later and they won't last. Timing is everything with peonies, and we've been doing this long enough to get it right.

These buckets contain nothing but peonies. No foliage to make the count look bigger, no filler to stretch the price. What you see is what you get — and what you get is exceptional.

• 100% fresh-cut peonies, mixed varieties (Sarah Bernhardt, Festiva Maxima, Coral Charm, and others depending on the year)
• Mixed or single-colour pulls available — note your preference at checkout
• We grow in blush, white, coral, and deep rose
• Cut at bud stage for maximum vase life
• Loosely bundled by colour, no design

15 stems — $100 Three to four lush centrepiece arrangements, or one genuinely spectacular vase. At $6.67 per stem for farm-direct, locally-grown peonies at peak freshness — this is significantly below what you'd pay a florist for the same quality.

25 stems — $160 Four to six arrangements, a full sweetheart table, or a flower bar centerpiece. Enough to make a real statement at an intimate event.

Have a specific event date? Reach out directly and we'll tell you honestly whether our bloom timing is likely to line up. Peony timing can shift 7–10 days depending on the spring we get — we'd rather tell you that upfront than have you counting on us for a Saturday that falls outside our window.
